Ocean Breeze
This Tutorial was written by Sweetiepeas on June 19, 2007 using PSP X and Animation Shop. It is my own creation and any similarity to another tutorial is purely coincidental.
Supplies:
Mask by Becky found here
Font – I used AllureScript, but any script you like will work
EyeCandy 4000 – Gradient glow
Eyecandy 5: Nature – Ripples
A freeware program called Reflet – you can find the download here.
I am using the lovely artwork of Chester Ocampo. You can view his artwork at http://elpinoy.deviantart.com. You can download the image and tube I used here and here.

You can drag this arrow down the page with you to keep your place in the tut.
Script provided by Dynamic Drive.

Lets Begin!!
Be sure to save often.
Open your mask and minimize.
Open a transparent canvas 600 x 600.
Set your foreground color to #11819b and flood fill your canvas. Add new mask layer and invert. Merge visible.
Choose your selection tool and outline the inner rectangle of the mask.
Open the full image (I cropped mine a bit so it fit better). Resize if necessary. Copy the tube and paste into selection. Deselect.
Open the tube and resize to match the image. Copy and paste the tube, lining it up with the bottom layer. (This will make sense later). Add a drop shadow. I used V:0, H:0, O:80, B:10, Color: Black.
Choose the font of your choice and write your name. I set my colors to Foreground: #2bbffa, Background: #22cebd. Add the same drop shadow. Go to EyeCandy 4000 – Gradient Glow and use these settings, color white:
Add your watermark and any copyright now. This is what you should have so far.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Animation – Phase 1:
Save your work at this step as a .jpeg.
Open the reflet program. Locate your .jpeg file and open it. Use these settings and push the animation button to view. Go to file – export and save the file as reflection only.
Open in A/S.
Animation – Phase 2: (There is probably an easier way to do this…this is how I did it).
Activate your bottom layer. Using your selection tool, create a box framing the water part of the image (don’t worry about the girl being in part of it).
Copy this selection and paste as a separate new image. I used my target tool to colorize over the girl to match the water a little better.
Open EyeCandy 5: Nature – Ripples. Use these settings and apply.
Copy and paste the image back onto your original canvas, lining it up with the previous selection. I suppose you could paste it into selection if you still have your rectangle there.
Copy merged into A/S.
Go back to your water image and apply Eye Candy ripples again by pressing random seed. Repeat the previous steps until you have a total of 5 frames.
Animation – Phase 3:
Open a new canvas in A/S, 600x700 (we will resize later). Opaque, white background. Duplicate it so it has 5 frames total.
Select all on your reflection animation. Go to resize animation – Actual/Print size, and lower the height by about half.
Copy and propogate paste onto your new canvas, arranging it close to the bottom.
Select all on your main image animation. Copy and propogate paste lining it up with the reflection.
Select all and set frame properties to 25. I resized my animation by 85%. Save as a .gif and you are done! Hope this was clear enough to follow. It is my very first tut! Enjoy!
