This is what we will be making, I hope

Supplies

You will need PSP and AS.
your choice of tube, if you want you can use the roses I used Here if not a long skinny tube works best for this size.
A pretty font, I used Cancellaresca Script Here
No plug ins required.

You can drag this arrow down the page with you to keep your place in the tut.
Script provided by Dynamic Drive.

Be nice this is the first tut, and I am not great with this kinda thing!

open a new image 400x500, transparent.
grab you preset tool, rectangle shape, solid line, width 7, make sure create on Vector is checked. Use black in the foreground color, white on the background color. Draw your rectangle, starting close to the top right hand side, leaving room on the left and bottom sides.
screen1
convert to Raster you can rename Rectangle1
Still using the preset rectangle, change line style to Dash Dot Dot, making the back ground color transparent, leaving width at 7. Make a rectangle just inside the first one. Convert to Raster, name rectangle2.
Still using preset rectangle, keep line style the same, dash dot dot, change the line width to 2. draw another rectangle inside the second rectangle, Convert to raster, name rectangle3.
By now you should have something that looks like this
screen2
you can merge the 3 rectangle layer now, rename outside rectangle.
still using the preset rectangle, line width 2, change the style to solid, keeping black as the foreground, now pick a color from you tube, I used red from the roses, for the background. Using a darker color will work better, as it will lighten. Make another rectangle not as close as the last 3, you want it to be a little ways from the 3rd rectangle. Move it around to center it if needed.
Convert to raster, name Color rectangle
on the color rectangle go to effects, texture effect, blinds. using the settings of.... Width 3, color white, opacity 60...Drop shadow using the setting of, 1h 1v, 70 opacity, 5 blur, black.
preset rectangle again, black background, white foreground, solid line, width 2, make one very close to the red rectangle. convert to raster, merge down, with red rectangle.
switch your colors, making background white and foreground black
make a small square, which you will then duplicate 2x making 3 small squares. I like to use grid lines for this, place them to the right side, spaced evenly apart.
screen3
Convert to raster, drop shadow, using 1h 1v, 70 opacity, 3 blur, black. Rename 3 rectangles
switch the color back again, black foreground and white background
using the preset rectangle, getting tired of it yet? Make a rectangle just in side one of the small black squares make another, it should now have a white center, with a thin black frame. Duplicate the white box 2x more, so you have 3 white boxes, move one into each small black square.
Merge down each of the white boxes, merging the white boxes down onto the black set. You should have 3 layers, the outside rectangles layer, red rectangle layer, and 3 rectangles.

Take you tube, copy and paste as a new layer. Take your magic wand, making sure the 3 rectangle layer is selected. Click the wand inside the top square, selections invert, move your tube into the square marching ants. Making sure there is a part of the tube you like is in the small square. with the tube highlighted, delete, this should deleted everything from the tube expect what was in the box.
Selections none, copy and past tube again, highlight the 3 rectangles. Using the magic wand click inside the 2 square, selections invert, move the tube into place, delete. selections none. do this all once more, this time clicking on the 3 square.
Merge the 3 tube layers together.
at this point toggle visibility, turn the roses off, merge the 3 visible layers of rectangles. toggle the roses back on.
copy and paste the tube on a new layer. move it to the left side, over hanging the outside solid rectangle. Duplicate the roses, free rotate 90 to the right, then goto image, and flip. Move the roses down overlapping the stems of the 2 sets.
screen4
Drop shadow both roses layers using the setting of, 1h 1v, 70 opacity, 5 blur, black. Toggle the cut out roses, off so they are not visible. merge visible, now you should have 2 layers, the bottom merged one, and the cut out roses.
That is your base tag.

highlight the bottom merged, and open up your font, type your name using the vector stroke width .2. I like to have mine at a 90 angle, vertical Stretch it till it look good in the space. Convert to raster, drop shadow 0v0h, 60 opacity, 15 blur, black.
Merge it down to the bottom merged layer.
this is the time to add any info needed such as your tag/©
duplicate the bottom layer 2x so you have 3 layers
do the same with the cut out roses, you will now have 3 layer of each layer.
highlight the bottom cut out roses, adjust, add noise, using Uniform, monochrome is checked, start at 50%.
highlight the next cut roses, add noise up the % to 51
highlight the 3rd cut roses, add noise up the % to 52
Highlight each of the cut rose layers change opacity to 40
Move the cut out roses, one for each bottom merged.
you will then have
cut roses3
bottom layer3
cut roses2
bottom layer2
cut roses1
bottom layer1
Merge each cutout rose down to the bottom layer just beneath it. You will then end up with 3 layers.
crop any unneeded area from around your tag. Save, and open up AS time for the animation!!
Open up in AS play to make sure you like timing. save as a gif
