Close to my Heart

This tutorial was written by me, NaughtiAngel, on 23th April 2008.

Any similarity to this tutorial is purely coincidental, it is a combination of things I have learned.

Please do not copy or claim as your own.

This tutorial has been registered with TWI prior to public release.

You might like to print this out as its a lot of steps and i don't want to confuse you.


This is what we will be making,

 

Supplies

You will need PSP & Animation Shop

Toadies - What are you?

Xenofex - Constellation

Eye Candy - Gradient Glow (optional)

Tube of choice I've used the work of Zindy S D Nielson. This is a PTU tube and you can get it HERE

Scrap Kit - I've used Lilac and Lace which is a PTU kit by Lynne of Baby Cakes Scraps you can find her site HERE

Let's Begin!

Open up a canvas 500px x 500px & flood with white.

Copy and paste frame3 from the Lilac & Lace kit.

Duplicate this layer twice so you have 3 layers.

On the bottom frame layer Image - Free rotate 8 degrees to the right.

On the middle frame layer Image - Free rotate 5 degrees to the left.

On the top frame add a little drop shadow and the hide the layer and the white background layer.

Merge the two other frames layers together.

Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur - Radius 10

Set your foregound and background to white (They seem to effect the look of the plugin)

Effects - Plugins - Toadies - What are you? X-Dose 20 Y- Dose 20

Copy and paste your tube onto your canvas

Grab your retangular selection tool and mark the bit of the tool which goes below the frame.

then hit delete on your keyboard.

Deselect

open your flowers and resize by 80% - smartsize

Copy and paste onto you canvas and move to the bottom of your frame.

Open on of the butterflies - I'm using prettybutterfly3 and resize by 50% - smartsize

Copy, paste and position,

Add your name. I used white and then added a little green glow #beccaa to match the leaves on the flowers.

Add your copyrights and merge all your layers

Animation (optional)

Duplicate your merged layer twice till you have 3 layers

Set your freehand selection tool to point to point, feather 0, mode - add.

Draw round the strands of her hair you'd like twinkle.

Apply - Xenofex constellation with these settings

Repeat for the two remaining layers hitting the random button to change the placement of the twinkles

save as a .pspimage

Open - Animation Shop

Find your file

Animate to test and save as
