Blurred Heart

This tutorial is written for those who have working knowledge of PSP. It was written by me Lessly on October 24th 2007. Any similarity to any other tut is purely coincidence. My Tutorial is only to be displayed at GraphiczAddicts.com and I give no permission for it to be reproduced or translated anywhere. Now on to the Tutorial Very Happy


Open the Becky_Mask008 and My blurry heart brush and place in appropriate areas.


Open the Rose paper 1, Rose frame, and graph paper into PSP

Then open a 600x500 canvas with transparent background flood fill white
Paste the Rose paper1 as New layer. Re-size to fit canvas.
Then load mask...click onto toggle transparency and then load. Merge Group. resize to 125%. Resize all layers unchecked. Colourize to match your tube if necessary. Name as scrap heart.


New Raster layer, place this layer under the scrap heart layer.
Now go to paint brush and find the blurry heart brush. Make the size 500 and paste it underneath the scrap heart so you can see the blurry image under all the outer edges of the scrap heart. I had to resize again by 105% all layers unchecked to make it slightly bigger the the scrap heart image.

Duplicate 2 times, rename blurry1, blurry2, blurry3.

For each blurry heart image Go to effects-->plug-ins-->xenofex2-->constellation Click onto random seed for each of the layers.

Use these settings...and the colour of your choice.

Go to your scrap heart layer. Create new raster layer. Paste your tube here. Resize to your liking and hide this layer.
Go back to your scrap heart layer. Create new raster layer. Copy and paste the rose frame here. Resize 55%. Free rotate to left 15 degrees.
Duplicate and mirror image.

Save you work.
Your Full Tag should look like this now.

Open the graph paper. Resize 55% free rotate by 15 degrees. Place underneath the left frame.

Go to the left frame layer. Use the magic wand click the inside of the frame. Go to selections modify-->expand by 5-->selections-->invert. Go to graph layer and click delete.
Duplicate the graph layer and mirror it.

Click onto one of your graph layers. Create new raster layer and paste your second tube so it fits over the graph paper. Make it as big or small as you like.
Then as before click onto the appropriate frame-->magic wand and click onto the inside of the frame. Go to selections modify-->expand by 5-->selections-->invert. Go to tube layer and click delete. Opacity 60.


Place your word art into the opposite frame. You can now place any elements you want for your tag in a new raster layer. Also place your copyright info onto your tag along with your name.

OptionalI used Eyecandy Glass for the effect on the name. Change the settings to suit your text :)

Now comes the animation Part.

In PSP view your Top layer...now view all but the blurryheart1, blurryheart2, blurryheart3 and your white background layer. Merge Visible.

Duplicate the merged layer 2 times name 1,2,3 also duplicate the white background layer 2 times as well.

Your layers should look like this

Now only view layer 1 then view blurryheart1 and a background. Merge Visible. Repeat this layer 2 and 3 as well until you have 3 merged images.


Save each merged layer as animation1,2,3

Go to Jasc Animation. Then go to animation wizard. Add merged images. click ok and save your new Tag:)
