Simply Gorgeous!

This tutorial was written by me, Lessly, on February 27th 2008. Any similarity to any tutorial is simply coincidence. This tutorial may not be duplicated by
anyone and may not be redistributed outside of Graphicz Addicts. All supplies may not be distributed outside of GA without written permission of the creator.
Basic knowledge of PSP and animation shop is needed to complete this tutorial. I have used PSP XI to do this tutorial.

This is what we will be creating

Supplies Needed

PSP & Animation Shop
Eye candy 5 Impact-Gradient glow
Lessly's Square Template
Font of your choice
NaughtiAngel's Word Art

Tube of your choice
I used the wonderful work of Keith Garvey.
You may buy his tubes here and may not use his work without an appropriate license.

Supplies may be found here.

---------------------------------------------------------

Now onto the Tutorial

Open up you supplies & the tube you will be using.
Now open the template and save selection to alpha channel then minimize it. Open a new 600x600 transparent image and load Lessly's Square template.
Flood Fill the template with a dark colour from your tube, leaving the 2 upper right boxes empty. Move the template to the center of you canvas or where you think it looks best with your tube and
mirror (if you like). Select None. View only your template layer. Now duplicate this layer 4 times. You should have 5
flooded layers now. Rename the layers Flood 1-4,then Background1. View only flood2, change opacity to 70%. Flood3 opacity 55%, flood4 opacity 25%.

Paste your tube as a new layer and resize to 80%. Place where it looks best and duplicate 2 times. Rename tube1, tube2, tube3. Go to EyeCandy gradient glow. Use the settings below for tube2. For tube3 only change the overall opacity setting to 50.

Paste your tube again as a new layer and resize to 130% and mirror, this layer needs to be aligned so most of it shows on the squares as shown below. View
only Background1 select all, float, defloat, invert. View your 130% tube and click delete. Select none. Blend mode soft light. Select the 130% tube and
Background1, merge visible. Duplicate this layer one time and rename that layer Background2, decrease opacity to 75%.

Open NaughtiAngel's word art and copy it. New raster layer and place it where you'd like on your tag. Add your copyright information and your name. Merge
your copyright info, name and word art together...save as Psp animation.

Save all your layers (one at a time) as PSP animation. Make sure you know where you saved them.

Animation

Go to animation wizard. Make sure you click on opaque, making sure it is white.

Open the files in this order.

Flood1, Flood2, Flood3, Flood4, Flood3 Flood2, Background2, Background1.
Click ok. Select all, starting with the first image.

Go to animation wizard again. Make sure transparent button is checked.

Open the files in the order.

Tube1, Tube2, Tube3, Tube2, Tube3, Tube1, Tube1, Tube1
Click ok. Select all, starting with the first image.

I find this easier then copying and pasting each layer from PSP to Animation shop. You may do it that way if you like.

Now open the merged file that has your Word art etc. in it. Duplicate this layer 7 times. Select all.

Go to your tube animation and copy. Go to the flooded animation and paste the tubes here, starting with the first
frame. Drag it to where you want it. Then do the same for your word art animation.

Lastly, yes there is an ending in sight! Go to the first frame and change the frame properties to 125. Go to the last frame and do the same.
Resize if you like. Save and your done!

Enjoy your new Tag! Please take the time to post your creation on our board. I'd love to see what you come up with.
